How it measures

Measurement Principle

The analyzer uses lead acetate tape reaction-rate colorimetry for direct H₂S measurement. A controlled sample contacts a fresh section of treated sensing tape, and an optical detector measures the rate of stain development. In configured total sulfur systems, sulfur-containing compounds are first converted to H₂S in a heated hydrogen reaction section and then measured by the tape detector.
